An oil change is one of the essential maintenance services that should not be put off. This is because motor oil is the lifeblood of your engine, providing lubrication for fast-moving parts. Over time, the oil will become dirty and contaminated, necessitating a change. Timely oil changes extend engine’s longevity and enhance its overall performance. Fortunately, with the new synthetic engine oils, you don’t have to get engine oil changed as often as in the past. If your Audi uses full synthetic engine oil, the rule of thumb is to change the oil every 5,000 miles or 6 months.
